October 7-11 (Tracks 1-3) & October 22-25 (Track 4) – Arctic Adventure Coin Challenge begins to raise money for the All for Books program that helps ensure all kids at our school can participate in our Book Fair. In addition, The Scholastic Possible Fund matches all our All For Books donations up to $1 million in books, distributing them to organizations such as the Kids In Need Foundation, Reader to Reader, Inc., and the National Center for Families Learning. The highest earning Coin Challenge classes will have a chance to win Scholastic Dollars
Monday: Bring in Pennies
Tuesday: Bring in Nickels
Wednesday: Bring in Dimes
Thursday: Bring in Quarters
Friday: Bring in ANY COIN or BILL
October 14-25 – Arctic Themed Scholastic Book Fair: Ready to chill out with a good book? Stock your homes for the cooler days sure to come (eventually, right?). During this 2 week journey, students will preview and shop our annual fall Book Fair with their classes
October 15 – Early Morning Shopping at the Arctic Themed Scholastic Book Fair 8:00-8:45am. Please remember you need to remain with your child until the first bell at 8:45am.
October 17th – Fall Family Night and Camp Fair 6:00pm-8:00pm: Not only will you have the always energetic chance to shop the book fair that night, you can learn more about local camps and educational organizations for your kids! But that’s not all…the BCES Jets Chorus will perform, the Scrap Exchange will be onsite for a creative extravaganza and the Snow Queen will visit our school to read stories and offer a live owl presentation!! Could you ask for more? How about book basket raffles to frost this treat of an evening?
October 24 – After School Shopping at the Arctic Themed Scholastic Book Fair 4:00-6:00pm
